This rum originated from the distillery, Alcoholes Del Istmo and produced using a column still. The rum started with 12 years of tropical ageing in bourbon casks with an additional year of continental ageing in Ferrand Cognac casks. Warm notes of fruit, sweet spice and chocolate.
