How Is Michter’s Bourbon Made?
Michter’s bourbon mash bill is unknown but is made from at least 51% corn (we think closer to 79%) plus around 11% rye and 10% barley. The mash bill is then mixed with water and left to ferment for some time.
After the fermentation process, the mash is then distilled. The distilled mash is then aged in several different oak barrels for around 8 years.
