This collectible rye is from Michter’s, a small producer with a cult following amongst bartenders and whisk(e)y connoisseurs. Under Master Distiller Pam Heilmann, 10 Year Rye is bottled from a single barrel that was air-dried for 18-36 months, toasted and charred. Like Tennessee sour mash, but unlike most bourbon, an extra step of filtration lightens this peppery, spicy, and softly citric rye. A luxurious sipper.
